With Teaching Quality Recognised Internationally, MPI Welcome you all
With Teaching Quality Recognised Internationally, MPI Welcome you all To welcome this year’s secondary school graduates, and all people having the dedication to pursue learning, as well as to demonstrate current developments in its teaching and research work, Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI) held its Open Day 2012 on Saturday, 25th February. Over 2000 students and general public visited and experienced the MPI facilities as well as student life. A public, multidisciplinary and applied higher education institution, MPI’s development strategy is to be “small but compact with its own specializations”. The degree programmes we offer are closely linked to Macao's economic and social development needs, teaching both theory and practical knowledge, their quality having been widely recognized by the local community, parents and students. Because of this recognition, applications for enrolment on our programmes by local high school graduates have increased every year in terms of both number and quality. In order to broaden the international perspective of our increasing numbers of students, MPI has signed many co-operation agreements with world-renowned universities, including those on mutual recognition of credits, in order to increase international exchanges and open up for our students a wider space for their further studies. Aiming to serve local society primarily, with the support of the SAR Government MPI has also upgraded its campus facilities, the new Meng Tak building coming into service last year. Due to the continuously increasing number of applications, to cater to the needs of local students MPI will increase its intake of local students for the coming academic year to train even more future talent to satisfy the growing needs of Macao’s industries and services. Every step MPI has taken has been witnessed and supported by Macao community and residents in general. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
